A prominent contractor within the rail and civil sectors, is actively seeking a capable Sub/Site Agent to manage and deliver Earthworks projects across the Wessex region on a contract basis. The role focuses on executing embankment reconstructions and slope stabilisations. Key Responsibilities: Managing the execution and delivery of Earthworks projects within the portfolio. Overseeing embankment reconstructions and slope stabilisation tasks. Ensuring projects are delivered within the specified scope, timeline, and budget. Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Producing and implementing Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets. Adhering to CDM regulations and implementing safe systems of work. Effectively managing and organising project resources and personnel. Liaising with stakeholders and ensuring smooth project communication and coordination. Job Requirements: Experience working on civils/structures projects, ideally within a rail environment. Proven technical and project management abilities. Strong organisational and management skills. Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations. Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work. Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment. Professional qualifications including PTS, CITB SMTS or equivalent, CSCS, and Temporary Works Co-ordinator. Significant experience required in construction, with experience in delivering projects on Network Rail Infrastructure. Benefits: Contract duration of 6-12 months. Coverage of travel expenses.
