Job Title : Food and Beverage Attendants
Position Overview
The Food & Beverage Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive top-notch service and have a memorable experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere whether it is at the bar, in the restaurant, room service, conferencing and / or events.
Key Accountabilities
* Greet and Seat Guests : Warmly welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and provide them with menus.
* Take Orders : Knowledgeably describe menu items, answer questions, and take orders accurately, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions.
* Serve Food and Beverages : Deliver food and drinks promptly and ensure they are presented according to standard.
* Check on Guests : Regularly check in with diners to ensure they have everything they need and address any concerns.
* Maintain Cleanliness : Keep the area clean and well-organised, including clearing tables, resetting, and restocking.
* Collaborate with Kitchen Team : Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure that food is prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
* Handle Payments : Present bills to guests, process payments accurately.
* Upsell and Promote : Suggest additional menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance the guests’ experience.
* Handle Guest Requests : Address special requests and accommodate guests' needs to the best of your ability.
* Safety and Hygiene : Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of food and beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Adhere to health and safety regulations.
* Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills & Experience
These are the desired skills and experience for this role :
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
* Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
