Quest Search & Selection are partnering with this B2C business that has circa 5000 people employed nationwide.
This role of a Payroll Manager is to make sure all employees are paid on time.
Roles & responsibilities of this Payroll Manager include:
* Input and manage payroll data, including new starters, leavers, tax code changes, monthly hours (perm & contractors) and bonuses, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Calculate and process SSP/SMP/SPP/SAP & check and enter P46/P45 tax forms.
* Liaison and update Guernsey & Eire Payroll.
* Deal with any payroll queries as they arise from colleagues or 3rd party via telephone, E-mail & post.
* Run monthly compliance reports, including National Minimum Wage checks, and file statutory FPS reports with HMRC.
* Maintain payroll documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies.
Skills and Experience Required for this Payroll Manager role:
* Has 3 years’ experience in a payroll capacity.
* Salary of £33,000 - £35,000 + Benefits.
* Ideally working as a Manager, Lead, Supervisor or Senior Assistant level.
* Knowledge of payroll systems and statutory legislation.
* Excellent numerical and data-entry & Excel skillset.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - dealing with multiple queries.
