Main duties of the job
An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Therapy Services department at University Hospital Southampton (UHS) for a B6 Physiotherapist to join our women's health and pelvic health therapy service. This post is particularly well suited for physiotherapists looking to develop their skills in pelvic health.

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
1. Undertake comprehensive assessment and treatment of urogynaecology and obstetric patients, possibly presenting with multiple pathologies. Any previous experience or learning within this skill set would be desirable.
2. Work within a Urogynaecology multidisciplinary team involved in the perinatal pelvic health service and the Southampton specialised mesh complication service.
About the team: UHS is a specialist tertiary centre for urogynaecology, gynaecology, and colorectal pelvic floor. You will be joining a growing team of Physiotherapists, based within the Princess Anne Hospital, which sits within the remit of University Hospital Southampton and is part of the wider Therapy services department.
This post is part of the wider Therapy services department, and therefore you will have many opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge through our in-service training programme and collaboration with Consultant Physiotherapists, Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, and Clinical Academics. You will be part of a large department of over 300 wte Therapy staff including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Therapy support staff.
