Role Title: Treasury Dealer
Reports to: Front Office Manager
Location: Peterborough

Role purpose
1. The job holder will report directly to the Front Office Manager providing insight and analysis into management of the company’s FX Risks and provide support for the cash management of the group bank accounts, including clients fund accounts and leasing operations.
2. Management of the day to day FX risk portfolio of the Group whilst partnering with the Treasury and business teams around the world
3. Ownership of the of existing risk management process and a key player in the building of new processes to support the financial management and control of the UK and European Treasury Function.
4. Day to day management of the UK banking facilities and stand-alone bank accounts
Key accountabilities
5. Supporting all aspects of executing internal and external FX Hedging trades, utilising an appropriate hedging model is implemented where roles and responsibilities are clear across the Treasury centres, Middle Office in the UK, the GDC support centre and APAC Treasury.
6. Assist in the strengthening and reinvention of the financial control and reporting environment for the Treasury Function in relation to the FX process.
7. Supporting the cash management process and the effective management of the groups liquidity facilities.
Experience should include:
The role requires a range of technical, commercial and operational business management skills, with an ability to facilitate discussions, develop initiatives, and to operate effectively to drive performance.
8. Some Treasury experience and an understanding of the latest FX Risk management techniques in developed and emerging markets.
9. Basic understanding of hedging instruments, FX strategy and markets.
10. An understanding of cash management techniques.
11. Integrating operational systems and requirements using a Treasury Management System (IT2)
12. Excellent analytical and communication abilities to support the business understanding of the FX landscape.
13. Ability to project manage and deliver global projects and initiatives
Key skills / Capabilities:
14. Treasury qualification (ACT/AMCT) desirable or 2 years working in a multi-national corporate environment.
15. A flexible, dynamic, and positive approach, with excellent business partnership skills who is able to to work across organisational boundaries
16. Tenacity, drive, the ability to operate and make key decisions effectively in a demanding environment and able to provide constructive challenge.
