We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with a particular emphasis on the IT Industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
3. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
4. Collaborate with the team to ensure alignment on business objectives and client deliverables.
5. Implement CRM software to our business to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyse data for informed decision-making.
6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable partnerships.
7. Monitor industry developments and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in business development or sales management, preferably within the IT industry.
2. Proficiency in CRM software is highly desirable; experience with other IT system tools will be considered an advantage.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.

Location: This role will initially cover the Okehampton and Holsworthy areas, later expanding to Bude and Bideford.
Renumeration: A basic NMW salary with uncapped commission, a generous percentage based earning potential tied to sales performance. Travel expenses to clients will be covered. Possible company vehicle in the future.

Pay: £24,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
