The ACC Liverpool Group operates the city's waterfront event campus – the interconnected M&S Bank Arena, ACC Liverpool and Exhibition Centre Liverpool - as well as ticketing agency Ticket Quarter and the Pullman Liverpool Hotel. Playing a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool, we have successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, from shows and conventions, business gatherings to exhibitions, developing our offer over the last decade to that of a world-class provider of venue and event services. We are looking to recruit a Production Technician - Vision to join our expanding Production Team. We would love you to join our award winning, in house AV team of 20. We look after a variety of aspects of production, for an array of events. We have four internal teams - video, sound, lighting, and resources – who work closely with our production managers when planning and delivering events. We predominantly look after event/conference AV with lots of PowerPoint and Keynote files. Video wise we have recently updated a lot of our equipment and infrastructure to deal with NDI everywhere, so computer skills and networking knowledge are important to be successful in this role. On a daily basis, you will be multi-tasking, as you would be involved in a variety of tasks such as full arena production builds with projection / cameras / control and LED walls; to building and operating conferences including camera work; and first line maintenance and care of equipment. This job role is truly diverse, just like our highly valued team. The ideal candidates will have strong skills in the field of video and be multi-skilled across other disciplines such as audio, lighting and rigging. Although these are specialised roles, it is expected that a technician will work across all areas throughout their working week and supporting their relevant senior technician on larger shows and during maintenance and repairs. A high level of adaptable communication skills, excellent customer service skills and a great eye for detail are essential to be successful in this role. This role includes direct interaction with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including clients, production companies and our in house senior management team. Previous experience of large corporate events, sporting events, concerts, exhibitions and working within a similar sized venue would be advantageous. In addition to the above, the candidate will need to be enthusiastic, like minded and complement our experienced and talented team. If you have the drive, passion and ambition to play a part in The ACC Liverpool Group’s continuing success story this could be just the job for you.
