About the role:
We are recruiting for a Management Accountant to support in transforming the financial operations within NFP Europe as the company continues to grow.
Overview of duties:
1. Responsible for reporting financial performance for your business line including the production and reconciliation of monthly management accounts, both P&L and Balance Sheet.
2. Ownership of all aspects of internal reporting and the month-end reporting process into the Group ensuring adherence to timetables, financial integrity, and completeness.
3. Provide commentary and insight into all aspects of financial performance for the leadership team.
4. Assist with the annual budgeting process within the business unit, providing insight and analysis into the key year-on-year movements.
5. Support and manage the financial control processes within your business line.
6. Monthly income reporting and income forecasting.
7. Perform group reconciliations as required.
8. Champion continuous process improvements via automation, simplification, centralisation, and standardisation to address business needs and build scalability.
Person specification:
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
1. Well organised and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
2. Good communication skills and ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels.
3. Accurate, with an eye for detail and ability to question everything from a financial perspective.
4. Strong Excel skills.
Education and/or Experience:
1. Fully/Part qualified accountant.
2. Degree level or equivalent educational qualifications.
3. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
4. Proven business partnering skills.
5. Experience of working within management accounts.
Key Information:
Hours: Monday – Friday, 35 Hours
