Salary: Up to £45,000 + Commission + Car + Fuel Card
About your new company:
A successful Forklift Company based across the UK is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to cover an established sales area. Reporting directly to the Group Sales Manager, this role will be a mixture of home and office-based, visiting client sites across the region.
About your new Business Development Manager role:
1. Identify and maximise sales of the company's equipment.
2. Develop relationships with new clients in your territory while maintaining strong relationships with existing client accounts.
3. Achieve planned sales targets and goals.
4. Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
5. Find and develop new markets and improve sales.
Requirements for the Business Development Manager role include:
1. Product knowledge within a forklift environment and previous sales experience.
2. Previous experience as an Area Sales Executive.
3. Excellent communication skills, face to face and over the phone.
4. Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to present a professional image.
5. Ability to influence and persuade to close a deal.
6. Full UK driving licence.
7. IT literate.
