We're Hiring: Registered Childrens Home Manager
Location: Romford, Essex
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year (dependent on experience)
We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a brand-new, purpose-designed 2-bed children's home in Romford, Essex, supporting young people with learning disabilities.
This is a unique chance to take the lead in shaping a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment from the ground up. As the Registered Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care and creating a culture that promotes the wellbeing and development of vulnerable young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of the 2-bed residential children's home
* Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of dedicated care staff
* Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans
* Promote a person-centred, therapeutic approach to care
* Ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing, and stable environment
* Build positive relationships with external agencies, families, and professionals
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing a children's residential setting
* In-depth understanding of learning disabilities and complex needs
* A minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to drive quality improvement and foster a positive team culture
