Position: Senior Network Capacity Manager

Location: London or Manchester – hybrid working model (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Compensation: Competitive Salary plus benefits

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Capacity Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the DCC’s Network Infrastructure is maintained and grows to meet future demand in a timely and cost-efficient manner, assuring the successful delivery of our customer data.

What will you be doing?

1. Lead and motivate a team responsible for assuring the short, medium, and long-term network capacity.
2. Develop existing capacity planning functions to meet the changing needs of the business.
3. Manage suppliers through presentations, supplier responses, and challenging where necessary.
4. Take internal ownership of risk and issues to ensure each supplier’s capacity plan can be delivered.
5. Lead yearly cost profile production, refreshed quarterly, for all suppliers.
6. Ensure robust governance is in place, adhered to by all parties, both internally and externally, to ensure the integrity of DCC’s Network Capacity.
7. Produce capacity and performance impact assessments to understand the impact of changes on capacity and performance.

What are we looking for?

1. Experience in a leadership role within a highly regulated, CNI network planning role.
2. Strong people leadership, engagement, and coaching skills with evidence of leading a high-performing team.
3. Excellent stakeholder management skills both internal and external in a complex stakeholder landscape up to a senior level.
4. Experience of successfully transforming the customer experience within the network planning and capacity management domain.
5. Proven experience of developing and embedding large/complex data networks, managing complex data sets, interpreting demand forecasts, and assessing their impact on current and future network capacity needs.
6. Experience working in a regulated environment such as SMART Metering, Energy, Telecoms, Banking/Financial sector, and experience of presenting and influencing government and regulatory bodies.
