Sellick Partnership is supporting a Public Sector organisation to recruit for a Lead Solutions Architect on a permanent basis. The Lead Solutions Architect will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and development of new solutions across the organisation to meet key strategic drivers and ambitions. This includes providing architectural services across the organisation, ensuring that solutions are designed to meet requirements and achieve true integration of all systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading and managing the delivery, development, and identification of solutions to digitise and improve the organisation's ICT services.
2. Engaging with Heads of Service and other senior stakeholders to define technology, data, and digital requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
3. Updating and reviewing documentation templates and standards.
4. Communicating new initiatives and their impact on business objectives to inspire others.
What we are looking for:
1. Good understanding of IT strategy, technical architecture, and its application.
2. Good knowledge of IT management standards including DevOps, TOGAF, and ITIL.
3. Thorough understanding of large-scale systems management and corporate data.
4. Proven experience in conducting architectural assessments and creating roadmaps, including technology gap assessments, approaches to cloud transition, and architectural governance.
5. Significant experience in managing and motivating a team and other employees.
6. Conducting staff appraisals and performance reviews.
7. Relevant professional qualification e.g., Chartered IT Professional (CITP), BCS Practitioner, or certified in architecture design methodology e.g., TOGAF.
