Property Services Supervisor (Repairs and Contractors) St Austell £38,613 An exciting opportunity has arisen with Ocean Housing Group for a permanent, full time, Property Services Supervisor within our Property Services team. In this role, youll oversee the day-to-day management of contractors undertaking repair and maintenance work to our homes and estates. Youll manage the Damp, Mould and Condensation surveys and works, allocating resources to ensure repairs are completed. With a good understanding of construction, youll identify and report on emerging issues or risks and highlight resolutions. Communicative and organised, youll develop and maintain contractor capacity, liaising with contractors to ensure works are completed and monitoring the available budgets. Youll create a collaborative framework of surveyors, schedulers and works delivery (through contractors and internal stakeholders) to meet the business demand, developing good working relationships to ensure all workers are customer and quality focused. Were looking for an individual with experience of managing contractors / subcontractors to deliver repairs and maintenance services to housing. Youll have a good construction background and be able to lead a multidisciplined team to ensure a quick turnaround and customer satisfaction. With a good understanding of health and safety policies, youll ensure both internal and external stakeholders are aware of the regulations they must follow. A confident communicator, you will be able to adapt to the audience and encourage a positive work ethic all round.
