Rehabilitation Support Worker (Female)
The client is a young lady who was injured following a road traffic accident in February 2021. She suffered extensive injuries including a brain injury and multiple orthopaedic injuries.
Our client continues to experience physical, cognitive, and psychological difficulties as a result of her injuries.
She has a mild right sided weakness and problems with fatigue, motivation, concentration, impulsivity, disinhibition, memory and information processing.
She has also reported symptoms of low mood and anxiety.
She lives at home with her mother and is currently receiving support from a senior team leader and rehabilitation from a team of professionals.
Previous experience and full driving licence are essential.
Degree in Psychology or equivalent degree is desirable.
An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in care and competent IT skills are desirable.
8 HOURS PER WEEK ON A FLEXIBLE BASIS
£17.00 per hour - face to face (weekday and weekend)
0.45p per mile when using own car to transport the client.
Female applicants only due to personal care.
This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS.
You will also be required to register with the DBS Update Service.
