My client is looking for two skilled and passionate Teaching Assistants to join their Resource Base team. You'll be part of a small, dynamic group supporting up to 20 EYFS/KS1 children with Communication and Interaction difficulties, helping them thrive in and out of the classroom. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting pupils in small groups or one-on-one with tasks like reading, writing, and concentration. Helping children overcome challenges in communication, self-esteem, and independence. Promoting inclusion and positive behavior while providing supervision during activities and outings. Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to adapt lessons and develop resources for pupils’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Providing physical or personal care, including assistance with toileting or therapeutic exercises as needed. Supporting the curriculum by aiding the delivery of Literacy, Mathematics, and other learning strategies. Assisting with classroom organization, resource preparation, and general hygiene. About You Be able to do the job as described. Passionate about inclusion, with experience supporting children with SEND. Skilled at building confidence and independence in young learners. Comfortable with physical care tasks and therapeutic support for children. Creative and flexible, ready to adapt lessons and resources to meet individual needs.
