Duties within Care Homes include preparation of food and beverages and the organisation of the service of food, along with understanding the requirements of special diets for residents. Duties may include serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround and equipment. All Care Homes provide care 7 days a week for residents. Completion of basic bookwork and electronic returns may be required. You will earn £12.67 per hour casual staff receive payments in lieu of annual leave for hours worked and have access to a range of benefits, including: £12.67 per hour, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekend. The Person The successful candidate will be required to have catering experience or a qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
