People Group are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager from a Water background to work for a leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK.
Position: Mobilisation Manager
Rate: £650 Inside IR35
Location: Swansea
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
You'll lead the seamless setup and handover of new projects and contracts.
Ensuring successful project initiation, minimising disruption, and maximising efficiency from day one.
Develop comprehensive mobilisation plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
Lead the execution of mobilisation activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and deadlines.
Develop and implement transition plans to facilitate the smooth handover of projects from the mobilisation phase to operational teams.
Monitor and evaluate the transition process, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
Manage client expectations throughout the transition process.
Identify and assess potential risks and issues associated with mobilisation and transition activities.
Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience in mobilisation and transition management, preferably within the Water sector
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Relevant Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
