The Council is looking to recruit 2 suitably qualified, enthusiastic and motivated individuals, with relevant experience, to contribute to a highly effective service within the Finance Team responsible for Council-wide financial planning and management and the provision of financial information to a wide range of internal and external users.

You will have at least 3 yearsandrsquo; relevant post qualification experience in a finance related field and an understanding of local government finance and functions. You will provide a range of professional Financial Services functions with a particular focus within either Housing or Childrenandrsquo;s Services. However, specialist knowledge within these areas is not essential as training will be provided. The role also involves work on associated projects, mentoring other Finance staff and supporting the Financial Services Management Team in the delivery of work programmes.
