We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician to join our team in the South East working as a Regional Engineering Technician.

What you'll be doing:
You will be making sure that standards of patient care are consistently applied and maintained, as well as maintaining and enhancing customer service and satisfaction. As part of the role, you will promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of all patients, employees and visitors on site.
Responsibilities:
1. To manage the timely completion of work orders for planned and reactive maintenance, specialist sub-contract work and remedial work.
2. Provide routine and specialised engineering maintenance and breakdown support to a regional group of named Hospital and Integrated Urgent Care sites.
3. Provide technical, health, safety and environmental support & assistance as required.
4. To provide training, mentoring and hands-on assistance to any additional mobile based Technicians or Engineering Assistants.
5. Provide support and advice to the management team as required.
6. Demonstrate a can-do attitude based on engineering standards in an environment of open and honest integrity.
7. Help build and develop a strong team culture from day one.
8. You comply with all relevant internal training.
What we will look for in you:
1. CSCS Card at appropriate level of qualification.
2. City & Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
3. Time served apprenticeship in a Mechanical or Electrical biased discipline essential.
4. Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines.
5. Understanding of L8 Legionella ACOP within Hospital buildings.
6. A high level of organisation and time management skills in situations where there are sometimes conflicting priorities.
7. Demonstrable fault finding techniques and ability to read detailed plans.
