The post holder will be responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Floor to Board nursing assurance of professional nursing standards, workforce, and provision of nurse staffing, including Fundamentals of Care and the delivery of the All-Wales Nursing Retention Plan. They will also work closely with and provide professional support to the Head of Clinical Education and Primary and Community Care Academy Manager to support the education and development needs of nursing and midwifery staff within the organisation, including placement capacity and quality in clinical areas.
The successful post holder will focus on and lead the nursing workforce education and research and development plan that builds capability and allows sharing of best practice. They will keep abreast of national and international best practice standards and develop implementation plans across PTHB to ensure care standards are always in line with best/national guidance.
