About the role
As a Domestic Assistant at MHA, you will be part of a dedicated team who provide a comfortable, safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff.
Duties will be varied and include cleaning and general tidiness of a designated areas and maintaining the standards required. Every day will be different, and you'll have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference.

You'll find Alexandra House care home in Harwich, situated on the seafront on Marine Parade in the centre of Dovercourt Bay, with panoramic sea views. Whilst you'll never feel far from some of the UK's most beautiful scenery, with the local train station just minutes from our front door. At Alexandra House we offer Residential Care, Residential Dementia Care, Respite and Short Stay Care for up to 47 residents.

About you
The right values, attitude and behaviours are more important than your previous career background. Therefore, whilst previous experience is desirable, your respect for older people and willingness to undertake training is more important.
You don't need any qualifications to get started as a Domestic Assistant. You will have a kind, warm and caring nature and be able to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative.
