Job Description:
Are you an experienced social worker committed to supporting children in care and care leavers?
In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing the necessary care and guidance to help these young people achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing a caseload of children in care and care leavers, ensuring their needs are thoroughly assessed and addressed.
2. Developing and implementing care plans that promote well-being, stability, and positive outcomes for children and young people.
3. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and other professionals to coordinate services and resources.
4. Advocating for the rights and needs of children in care and care leavers, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
5. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children in care and leaving care.
Qualifications:
6. Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
7. Significant experience in a social work role, particularly working with children in care and care leavers.
8. Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
9. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children in care and leaving care.
