Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Qualified Residential Care Practitioner for a Children’s Care Home in Solihull.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Residential Care Practitioner to support children and young people in a residential care setting.

Salary: £24,000 per annum / sleep in’s are paid at an additional £60 per sleep
Duties of a Qualified Residential Care Practitioner will include:
1. Support and work directly with children and young people to promote positive outcomes and independence
2. Engage in activities including play, cooking, personal care, and community involvement
3. Assist with educational and health needs
4. Perform general household duties, maintenance, and health & safety checks
5. Manage budgeting and financial aspects within the home
6. Provide key working and advocacy support
7. Implement behaviour management strategies
8. Maintain high standards in accordance with OFSTED requirements, Children’s Homes Regulations, and the Quality Care Standards
9. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
10. Adhere to risk assessments and ensure the safety of all residents
11. Work in collaboration with external agencies and attend necessary meetings and reviews
12. Complete detailed reports and documentation as required
In order to be considered for the role of a Qualified Residential Care Practitioner:
1. Previous experience in a children’s care home setting is essential
2. Full UK Manual Driving Licence required
3. Familiarity with residential care principles is beneficial
4. Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young People's Workforce) or willingness to work towards this qualification
5. Ability to work flexible shifts, including overnight stays
6. Must have a valid Right to Work in the UK
Hours of Work: 8am – 10pm (2 on / 4 off) (between 6-8 sleep in’s per month)
