Rate: Negotiable on experience but we pay above average market rate

About the role
Here at Hartley Pensions, we are looking for an Interim Pension Manager to support us in the reconciliation of our client’s accounts and to administer the whole life cycle of a SIPP with a focus on transfers to retirement. You will be involved in the project of investigating our client’s SIPPs and finding any discrepancies and missing information. You will handle simple to complex SIPP queries.
What you'll be doing
* Your responsibilities for this role include but are not restricted to:
* Administer and take ownership in the reconciliation of our client’s SIPP.
* Manage and update clients on their SIPP valuation.
* Ensure processes are fully monitored and completed in line with client and legislation requirements.
* Be a point of contact for the team to support with queries.
* Contact and liaise with investment providers or banks to get updated statements for the client’s SIPP.
* Process SIPP transfers out and retirement requests as per instructions from our clients.
* Liaise and collaborate with our team of 8 Pension Administrators/SIPP Managers.
* Liaise with pension schemes/providers to obtain pension information.
* Proactively identify risk within the department and escalate any concerns to other SIPP Managers or the Operations Director.
Skills and experience
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate that you have managed and taken ownership of complex pension administration scenarios with at least 2 years of experience within the SIPP/SSAS pensions industry.
Not essential but please note on your CV if you have any of the following:
* Experience using systems such as SIPP Pro or Platinum Pro.
