About the role
This is an exciting new role within the Norfolk and Waveney Dementia Support Service, which runs a person-centred and localised dementia support service, to those living with and / or affected by dementia across the area. As a Local Communities and Volunteering Officer, you'll be responsible for delivering:
You will:
1. Work with local communities to build trust and raise awareness of dementia and our information, support and services.
2. Attend and organise events, build relationships and manage volunteers across the region.
3. Work closely with the Local Communities and Volunteering Lead and Local Services Manager to deliver our planned community engagement activity, with a particular focus on reaching underserved communities.
