Art Teacher – KS3 to KS4

Daily Pay: £140 to £190 (Depending on experience)

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a passionate Art Teacher eager to inspire creativity in students? If so, GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a secondary school in Sheffield. This role is open to experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs), including those who have recently completed their training placements and are ready to begin their teaching journey.
Role Overview:
As an Art Teacher, you will deliver engaging and stimulating lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop their artistic skills and express their creativity. You will support students in exploring different artistic techniques, understanding art history, and producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that engage and challenge students.
* Introduce students to various artistic styles, techniques, and media.
* Foster creativity, critical thinking, and independent expression.
* Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that nurtures artistic development.
* Encourage students to showcase their work and participate in school exhibitions.
Mandatory Requirements:
* The successful candidate must hold a PGCE in Art (or a related subject) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or an equivalent certification.
* Be able to provide a ten-year career history with relevant reference details covering the last two years, including your most recent place of academic employment.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art education.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
* A commitment to fostering a creative and supportive learning environment.
