Podiatry Assistant – Royal Berkshire Hospital
Band 2 (Band 3 -when competencies met)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as part of the Hospital Acute Podiatry team. You will support the clinical team covering ward and out-patient settings managing acute foot conditions.
You should have a good standard of general education and excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills. Experience of working in a caring role would be beneficial however on the job training will be provided to enable you to fulfil the requirements of the role.
Enhanced DBS Certificate will berequired.
To work as part ofthe acutepodiatry team,whilst undertakingatraining programmespecific to foot health and Podiatry. To work as directed by the Podiatrist, in clinics and within a ward settingto provide high quality clinical care.
Supportingthe clinical team covering ward and out-patient settings managing acute foot conditions.Most commonly, care will be provided for patients who suffer from metabolic,vascularor neurological disorders that place the lower limbs in a compromised situation.
