As a Payroll Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding ACCA’s legal, financial, and reputational standing by overseeing global payroll compliance, data security, and reporting. You’ll work closely with teams across the organisation to create frameworks that promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead Payroll Compliance & Risk: Drive the creation and implementation of a global payroll compliance framework to ensure we're always ahead of potential risks. Horizon scanning, audits, and documentation will be key parts of your day-to-day.
* Shape Data & Reporting Strategy: Use your analytical skills to provide meaningful insights from complex payroll data, driving process improvements and ensuring clarity in decision-making across teams.
* Subject Matter Expert: Offer internal advice on compliance, develop training, and collaborate with external partners to stay ahead of global payroll changes.
* Ensure Data Security: Safeguard sensitive payroll data, ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality and GDPR regulations.
* Audit & Insights: Run internal payroll audits, analyse trends, and provide actionable insights for continuous process optimisation.
* Enhance Payroll Continuity: Lead business continuity planning for payroll services, ensuring operations are resilient in the face of disruption.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Payroll & Compliance Expertise: Experience with global payroll operations, risk management, compliance standards, and frameworks is essential.
* Strong Analytical & Reporting Skills: A natural at interpreting complex data, identifying risks, and crafting clear, impactful reports for leadership and stakeholders.
* Proactive Problem Solver: Ability to foresee challenges and develop solutions before they become issues.
* Experienced with HRIS Systems: Familiarity with systems like Workday and CloudPay is desirable.
* Relationship Builder: Able to work with diverse teams and build trust through data-driven decisions and transparent communication.
