What will you be doing?
As Masonry Team Leader, your duties will be wide ranging. From leading, coaching and developing our Masonry Team, to making sure stock takes are completed, to attending and/or delivering any meetings required.
You’ll be responsible for memorials removed and fixed in cemeteries and churchyards, in line with the code of Practice set out by the National Association of Memorial Masons.
Helping to continue with the provision of an industry leading masonry fixing service, you will make sure that all operations are in line with health & safety as well as local authority regulations.
Making a positive impact to our customers and members, you’ll offer advice and information on all aspects of masonry fixing - maximising value and choice.
You’ll work closely with the Administration Team Leader for capacity levels and for any special customer requirements and communicate daily requirements and performance targets with the Masonry team.
Bringing flexibility and willingness to train on all processes within our masonry production, you’ll undertake any external training needed.
As well as loading vehicles with memorials, you’ll also help to make sure that all daily and weekly vehicle checks are completed and document any maintenance concerns, helping to ensure that our vehicles are well maintained.
Acting as a cooperative and supportive team member within our Masonry Team, you’ll also play a key role in promoting Masonry within the local community and building good working relationships with third parties.
How will I know if I am right for this role?
We are looking for either someone who already holds a NAMM qualification or someone who is willing to train towards the successful completion of the NAMM qualification.
It is essential that you hold a full driving licence.
As well as bringing flexibility and a keen eye for detail, you’ll also need excellent communication skills.
