We have a new opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team in AXA Commercial. Reporting into the Programme Lead, you’ll undertake analysis through all stages of the project lifecycle including supporting development of ideas into business cases, leading analysis during projects and supporting large, strategically significant focused projects and programmes, using and adhering to AXA methodology. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Documenting "as is" and "to be" processes, describing the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required Collating and analysing data using pre-set tools, methods and formats Contributing to and support feasibility studies from a technological and organizational perspective, and document findings Managing the identification, elicitation of project and/or department-level process requirements, conducting analysis of those requirements for accuracy and alignment to the department Carrying out delegated activities to support identification and evaluation of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project and the design of mitigating solutions Organizing and preparing complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices such as standard office software Contributing information and analysis to support the specification of project deliverables Delivering stakeholder engagement activities to support development of effective project working relationships and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. What you’ll bring: Proven track record of successfully applying business analysis techniques within both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting to the specific project requirements and team dynamics Experience in using relevant tooling such as Visio, Miro, and Azure DevOps to visualise processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage requirements and development activities effectively Well-developed facilitation, listening, coaching and documentation skills Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills Ability to synthesise large volumes of information into insightful, business analysis and recommendations A self-starter, able to work across large groups of stakeholders, take direction and shape the work to get going at pace and deliver quickly Experience of working in a regulatory environment is beneficial As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
