Job Title: In Class Support Assistant
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate In-Class Support Assistant to join our team in Highbridge, TA9 3AE.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children and young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) such as Autism or ADHD and/or mental health requirements.
As an In-Class Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to identified children and young people, promoting their learning and well-being.
You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement tailored support plans, ensuring that each child receives the individualized attention they require.
About the Role:
* Supporting children with SEN in a classroom environment
* Developing and implementing individualized support plans
* Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
* Providing emotional support and encouragement to children
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEN
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, understanding, and empathy when working with children
