As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for all aspects of the production process - from management, creative and design development, and delivery of the customers in store print executions. Your focus will be on shippers, tastings and experiential led briefs that come in via the Customer Front Door. This is a varied role and one that will be supported and guided by the SAM and the Account Director.
Key Responsibilities:
1. You'll carry responsibility for customer service delivery, as well as operational excellence, whilst supporting the SAM to communicate, track and achieve all financial targets, adhere to commercial standards, and optimise commercial benefits for our client.
2. Responsible for project managing point-of-sale communications to ensure they deliver the Waitrose business plan, reinforce the brand values and provide relevant and engaging content for the target customer.
3. To support the SAM with the delivery of POS work into the artwork team ensuring delivery of projects are on time and to budget.
4. You’ll explore print suppliers via the RFQ process to ensure we’re getting the most competitive rates for our clients. A focus on POS volume reduction and cost savings to meet our cost saving objectives will be key.
5. On top of that, you’ll provide administrative excellence in all invoicing, work-in-progress updates, briefing and supplier management.
6. You thrive in a fully client facing environment and understand the nuances between integrating yourself into a client’s marketing team and being an Account Manager delivering the best to your client.
Key Skills:
1. First and foremost, you should be customer centric. Our people go above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service, every time.
2. Maintaining this excellent customer service through outstanding account management – solving issues as and when they arise and making sure that delivery is right every time, on time.
3. Develop a partnership approach to working with the client; you must be able to manage their expectations for project delivery - don’t be afraid to challenge constructively.
4. Build positive and professional working relationships with your colleagues, internal customers and suppliers to enable smooth transition of all processes.
5. This is a busy account, working off large spreadsheets and keeping on top of multiple projects comes natural to you.
6. Influencing smarter ways of working, and driving time and cost savings where possible, and taking pride and ownership in reporting these back to your line manager and the Client Director.
