Hours per week: 15 hours, working 7.5 hours Tuesday and Wednesday.
Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient and effective typing and administration function to the team. The post requires fast and accurate audio typing skills, and a sound knowledge of medical terminology.
1. Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
2. Previous secretarial experience is required.
3. Experience of dealing with sensitive information is necessary.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience using hospital-based IT systems such as PAS and Medisec will be advantageous.
