Morrison Water Services is recruiting for a Reinstatement Manager to work on our Enhanced Metering contract in the Northwest Region.
As the Reinstatement Manager, you will be part of our Operations Team, responsible for the installation of Enhanced Meters for Morrison Water Services on the United Utilities Contract. You will be site-based in Preston.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Lead and manage site teams; report to the Operations Manager and set clear targets for the day/week.
2. Plan for contingency/worst-case scenarios.
3. Ensure all sites comply with company SHEQ policy and procedures, driving a strong Health & Safety and quality focus culture.
4. Produce, maintain, and brief SHEQ documentation to the workforce.
5. Coordinate resources to ensure delivery of required daily productivity.
6. Support SHEQ in toolbox talks, QA memos, and liaise with clients and highways.
7. Ensure van audits and onsite audits are completed with every team (1 per month).
8. Monitor the quality performance of works (clegg testing) and adherence to Customer and HAUC Specifications.
9. Act as a subject matter expert for any onsite technical issues.
10. Supervise onsite operational teams to avoid FPNs or S74 fines.
11. Coordinate all Highway activities with local authorities and back-office staff, ensuring appropriate Notices and traffic management are in place.
12. Ensure Operatives are trained and competent, with qualifications kept up to date.
13. Conduct Site Inductions/Team Meetings (Standdowns).
14. Maintain productivity trackers and site statistics.
15. Coordinate procurement with the supply chain.
16. Ensure a positive approach to dealing with members of the public.
Minimum Requirements:
* Effective management of sub-contractors.
* Knowledge of the water industry.
* Water SHEA/Water Hygiene card.
* CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
* Comprehensive IT abilities including MS Suite.
* Experience in building relationships with Local Authorities.
* NRSWA qualified Supervisor units 10-16.
* Current driving licence (essential for this role).
As part of this role, there will be a requirement to provide standby or emergency call per the rota.
