This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to inspire students and support their academic progress in a forward-thinking and supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Foster a love for Geography through innovative teaching techniques and creative lesson planning. Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback to ensure academic growth. Differentiate lessons to cater to a range of abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Encourage students' curiosity about the world, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Maintain strong classroom management to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum. Participate in extracurricular activities, field trips, and school events to enrich students' learning experience. What We Are Looking For: Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a recognized teaching qualification. Subject Expertise: A degree in Geography or a closely related field. Curriculum Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Geography curriculum, including assessment methods and national standards. Experience: Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 levels is preferred, but ECTs with relevant subject knowledge are encouraged to apply.
