We are currently looking for a Planned Works Manager to be responsible for ensuring that all works delivered by the planned works team offer value for money and operate within the constraints of the budget. What you will be doing: Responsible for ensuring that IHMS planned works team operate within a strong culture of health, safety, environment, and quality Responsible for developing a highly motivated, empowered, and engaged planned works team Develop, implementing, encouraging, and maintaining a planned works team who have a customer centric, right first-time culture Ensuring that that all required surveys are planned and undertaken, customer choices recorded, and delivery planned to meet the need of the bpha programme and the expectations of our customers Responsible for maintaining supplier relationships in conjunction with the Service Delivery Manager, Commercial Manager and SHEQ Manager. Responsible for ensuring that all works delivered by the planned works team offer value for money and operate within the constraints of the budget We’d love to meet someone with: Minimum 3 years in management position within planned property maintenance or similar service Ability to take ownership of issues/problems and personally see them through to delivery Good general all round construction knowledge is desirable Good and relevant health and safety knowledge and qualifications An experienced line manager, with the ability to inspire, lead and create teams Experience of working within tight time restraints, overcoming logistical challenges, and planning Educated to HNC, HND, CIOB, an equivalent degree or substantial experience in a similar role CSCS/SMSTS or equivalent(s) Knowledge of Decent Homes Programmes is desirable Amongst what we offer you is: A competitive salary from £54,300 per annum including car allowance 28 days holiday PLUS Bank Holidays A generous contributory pension scheme Private health care Free life assurance Access to an extensive suite of wellbeing services and tools including a digital gym Opportunities for learning and development Discounted gym membership Retail discount scheme Hybrid Working Please note the successful candidate will need to complete a basic DBS application.
