We are currently looking for a Key Accounts Manager (OEM & FLI EMEA) to join the Axalta team. Dedicated international resource as “one face to the Key Account (OEM’s, Fleets, Insurances)” on behalf of Axalta to establish, strengthen, maintain contact and develop business opportunities in EMEA. Directly or functionally supervising the EMEA network of international and national Key Account Managers. Dimensions: Establish, strengthen and maintain contacts with assigned international Key Account HQ’s ensuring Axalta can act accordingly to customers’ needs. Develop and coordinate Axalta’s strategy for specific KA across the countries. Negotiate and close international technical & commercial approvals / contracts for Axalta Refinish. Develop Key Account Business Plans. Ensure collection of all relevant market information at both International Key Account and local market. Operate on international level, in an EMEA team, networking with all central and local Marketing and Sales functions. Develop Key Account Strategy, COT’s and action plans on EMEA and support national levels. Key responsibilities: Establish, strengthen and maintain (regular, in-depth) contacts with assigned international Key Account HQ’s concerning their activities to ensure that Axalta can act according to their specific needs. Establish and maintain high-level contacts to those people in the Key Account HQ’s having influence on the aftermarket, specifications, approvals etc., in order to influence decisions. Negotiate international commercial approvals for Axalta Refinish in line with Pan European/Global Commercial Agreements Policy of Axalta Refinish Systems in respect of both new and existing international agreements to ensure that Axalta Refinish approval objectives are met, and where necessary, decide for samples to be submitted for technical approval, technical demonstrations, and company presentations. Negotiate and close contracts with the Key Accounts in close co-operation with appropriate legal counsel, and – where possible – based on existing international agreements taking into special consideration the optimum cost/benefit ratios in line with Axalta’s branding strategy. Develop national Axalta Refinish Key Account Business Plans. Produce concepts for co-operation with the Key Account, which may include training, delivery, invoicing service and consulting. Collect the necessary information on the Key Account or support such collection by sales organisation. Compile all relevant information and distribute within the Axalta Refinish organisation. Exchange and transfer information, on a regular basis, with colleagues in the European Key Account Management team and, if appropriate, other colleagues in Axalta. Help maintain 100% Salesforce (SFDC) use covering information relating to the automotive industry at headquarters, regional and national level, including contacts, approval/supply contracts, technical approvals and competitors’ activities as well as market information. Monitors Business with the Key Account and its Profitability This will involve, in cooperation with the Sales Analytics and Marketing teams, the use and application of specialized tools and/or assisting in the development and fine-tuning of such tools. This may also entail activities to establish such tools on a national basis in accordance with a contract with the OEM. Key requirements: University Master’s degree in Business Administration or Business Economics. Min. 10 years of proven working experience. Experience in negotiations with major companies at senior management level Knowledge of international business processes, especially within the refinish and collision repair industry and all its influencing players Proven ability to plan, implement and get results Excellent presentation skills Structured working methods Good analytical skills Both long term strategic thinking & strong operational skills High interpersonal sensitivity & skills Next to mother language, fluent in English (oral and written). Other European languages are desirable, esp. French and German Proven leadership experience in an international matrix structured organization.
