We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Assistant.

About The Role
The successful incumbent will fully support and engage in the day-to-day life of Wellington College Prep School. Duties will be varied and include sport, classroom support, boarding house duties and breaktime supervision.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Boarding
* To be on duty in the boarding house on a rostered basis.
* To help organise and supervise evening activities.
* To help put children to bed.
* To be on duty over weekends as required – this entails accompanying staff on trips out of school and assisting with general activities and bedtimes.
PE And Games Department
* To assist the Sports staff with general admin and organisation.
* To assist teaching staff during lessons and at times take small groups.
* To oversee a sports team during their fixtures.
* To help run lunchtime activities.
General Classroom Assistance
* Listening to the younger children read.
* Helping out with prep.
Other
* To participate in school lunches with the children.
* To undertake playground duties and administer basic first aid, if required.
* To undertake INSET courses as necessary for professional development.
* To attend staff meetings and whole school conferences.
* To be prepared to help out with The Hideout (after school care), if needed.
