Then we want to hear from you We are looking to recruit experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to work with children with barriers to learning on a permenant contract, working across Secondary age ranges as a part of an established team, the desired SEND Learning Support Assistant will be working on a small class sized basis with children who do not find it easy to fit into existing educational provisions. This can be for many reasons, including a range of behavioural, emotional and educational challenges, exacerbated by being on the autistic spectrum. Other difficulties such as sensory processing disorders, attachment disorders or those having faced trauma in their lives due to domestic violence, breakdown of foster care or adoption placements and those who are deemed school phobic. This full-time SEN Learning Support Assistant role is long term supply from September ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person. Previous expereience working with SEND Children. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
