THE BUSINESS Our fantastic client specialises in developing line-marking products for the largest distributor in the UK and currently exporting to 34 countries, worldwide - on 5 continents. The Logistics/Dispatch Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of order dispatching and inventory management, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods worldwide. The role includes managing the dispatch team, coordinating with logistics partners, and maintaining data accuracy across all dispatch activities. THE ROLE Oversee and manage the dispatch of over 120 pallets per week worldwide Manage and lead the dispatch team, organising time off and annual leave bookings in the HRIS Generate daily order picking lists using Microsoft D365 Allocate picking notes to dispatch operatives to ensure orders are picked and shipped accurately. Ensure accuracy of data recording of batch numbers, weights, dims etc. Work with logistics partners and log all deliveries with the relevant couriers for both UK and export orders, ensuring tracking numbers are sent to export customers. Manage weekly inventory checks on select items and oversee the completion of 2x annual stock takes. Stock Movement & Transfer Journals Liaise with planner on stock replenishment & order ready dates. Ensure all goods are dispatched accurately and in a timely manner Monitor email and respond to queries THE PERSON Microsoft Office skills with excellent excel knowledge Knowledge and experience of accounting software packages e.g. Sage, D365 etc. Good Communication & Time Management Skills Can reliably commute to Rossendale Excellent people management knowledge FLT & Reach Licence (in house or full) – Not essential Previous experience working in a busy dispatch environment System knowledge hugely welcomed, D365 or any similar knowledge would be hugely beneficial but not essential.
