Salary: £47,683-£52,426 (depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
This role will specifically involve leading the development of the Post Flight Analysis aspects of a future integrated software capability, which will enable the Generation, Validation and Analysis of Mission Data. The work is being carried out using Model Based Systems Engineering, modelling the solution within Cameo, and capturing requirements with the DOORS toolset.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading technical discussions and requirements elicitation with internal and external stakeholders including inter-business teams, MoD & industrial partners
Ensuring the proposed design is captured within the requirements management tools and modelling environment at an appropriate level of authority
Develop and deliver formal requirement specifications and other systems engineering artefacts in line with programme timescales
Maintain close engagement with the Radar Supplier to ensure the Post Flight Analysis capability is aligned with the Radar design
Support development of early careers pipeline within the department
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
A degree educated in a STEM subject, HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle, or equivalent relevant industry experience
An understanding of Electronic Warfare and sensors
A strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles including the Engineering Lifecycle
Desirable:
Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering and use of the Cameo toolset
Operational experience of performing post mission data analysis

Electronic Warfare Future Capability team:
The Mission Enablement Electronic Warfare team design, develop and integrate a suite of electronic warfare products for the Eurofighter partner nations, KSA and Qatar. These products allow the nations’ air forces to develop, test and validate their Typhoon mission data before being loaded to the aircraft. The EW Future Capability team are responsible for developing a new cutting-edge integrated software solution that will replace the individual SW applications that are in service today
