Job Description:
As a Die Tooling Engineer, you will play a key role in the introduction of new model dies and the improvement of production processes. You will be responsible for supporting die trials, collaborating with international teams, and ensuring high-quality tooling efficiencies. This role requires hands-on expertise in die tooling, troubleshooting, and optimizing production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead projects related to new model die trials.
2. Support new model die trials with international teams.
3. Develop and create new die processes from customer CAD models.
4. Oversee the manufacture of hot and cold model dies, ensuring efficiency and quality.
5. Drive improvements in reducing downtime and enhancing tooling efficiencies.
6. Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Skills & Experience:
1. NVQ Level 4 qualification in Tool, Die, Mould, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2. Previous experience as a Die Tooling Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of die and press processes.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
6. Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
