Write offs are one of the key KPIs we strive to achieve within the business and Supply Chain Operations are responsible for ensuring we optimise decision making to achieve this in the most sustainable way, using every penny of this budget optimally. As a Senior Consultant - Supply Chain Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving solutions and action within the business and supporting delivery of this KPI. From planning to execution you will drive performance in one of our Key KPIS.
In this role, you will sit within the Supply Chain operations Team acting as an expert and consultant on everything related to write offs, problem solving, troubleshooting, and ongoing support to colleagues. You'll also engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between business needs.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong analytical mindset, stakeholder management skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities while maintaining a keen eye for detail. Effective communication, adaptability, and the ability to convince others of your solutions will be key to delivering success.

What you'll do
Be responsible for ensuring delivery of the write off KPI across promotional and listed categories through close budget management.
Design and implement measures to support Head Office and Regional stakeholders in ensuring delivery of success.
Managing write off budgets at a IPG level to ensure decision making considers all applicable factors for write off investment.
Engage teams in their impact on write offs, raising awareness as to the impact stakeholders across the business have in their day-to-day actions.
Present figures and measures to stakeholders across the business ensuring alignment on wider business aims and objectives.
Planning write off target logic at IPG, regional and store level creating the conditions for overall target achievement.
Work with Supply Chain stakeholders to optimise processes which can support improvement in delivery.
Provide strategic insights through data and regional feedback, offering recommendations on all write off related topics. What you'll need
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics, problem solve and investigate issues to inform decision making.
Independent decision maker who understands the context of the investment in write offs to ensure availability for our customers.
Knowledge of systems used in the analysis of write offs such as MIS, WAWI and Autodispo systems would be beneficial.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and coordinate multiple stakeholders' needs.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - this is essential for data analysis, reporting, and presenting training materials.
Excellent communication and presentation skills - an ability to convey complex information clearly to senior leadership is essential. What you'll receive
