The Accounting Clerk III performs a variety of duties related to keeping accounts in the financial management of the region.
The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
Qualifications
1. High school graduate required
2. Graduate of an accredited business course relating to Accounting preferred
3. One (1) year prior experience in a related field
4. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
5. Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is required
6. Proficiency of both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positions
7. Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job
8. Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats and other mediums
9. Good work and attendance record
