Job Description:
RSS Infrastructure seeks experienced IRSE Licensed Signalling Points Fitters to join our team. We offer excellent pay rates and flexible zero-hour options, with or without a Van and Fuel Card. What will I be doing?
1. Carry out the building of Points Operating Equipment from scratch, including several different types of points like Clamp Locks, In-Bearer Clamp Locks Mk & Mk. HW & HPSS.
2. Assisting signalling Works Testers as part of commissioning works.
3. Carry out maintenance work on POE in line with Network Rail standards and the timescale as specified in the maintenance schedule, Task Briefings and as directed by the Team Supervisor.
4. Assist in checking/investigating safety standards and/or system failures.
5. Work with and support the development of the signalling team.
6. Report problems arising during maintenance, installation and following completion of work.
The ideal applicant will hold one of the following:
* IRSE Licence Categories for Signalling Point Fitter
* Signal Maintenance Tester
