We have an exciting opportunity within our Sports department who are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Performance Tennis Coach and Assistant Rackets Professional. About the role: You will join on a full time, 2 year Fixed Term basis. The successful postholder will be responsible for coaching performance Tennis pupils at the College, training as a Rackets Professional and to coach Rackets to all pupils, inline with the aims of supporting both participation and performance. There will be the need to coach pupils aspirational of attending both top UK and US Tennis Universities. Key responsibilities (Including but not limited to; see job description for full requirements): To work with relevant Heads of Sport to deliver coaching inline with the overall strategy for Sport at Wellington College, both in terms of participation and performance (including Saturday afternoons). Provide performance Tennis coaching to pupils aspirational of attending both top UK and US Tennis Universities and support the Head of Racket Sports in ensuring developmental programme is in place. Pastoral The opportunity to be a pastoral tutor to a set of pupils and be attached to a Boarding House The opportunity to undertake Boarding and other related duties, such as Dining Hall duties and supervision duties Person Specification The successful incumbent must have A passion for sports coaching, in a youth setting.
