Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + SEN allowance
Are you an experienced and compassionate educator with a passion for inclusive education? Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking academy based in Kent, is seeking a committed and knowledgeable SENCo to lead and develop their provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
This is a vital leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the school's SEND strategy, support staff, and ensure all students receive the personalised support they need to thrive.

As SENCo, you will oversee the strategic development and day-to-day operation of SEND policy and provision across the school. You will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to identify needs early, implement tailored support, and monitor progress closely.
You will also lead on EHCP processes, manage learning support staff, and ensure high-quality teaching and interventions for all students with additional needs.
Minimum Requirements:
* Hold the NASENCo qualification (or be willing to complete it)
* Have a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation
* Be an experienced teacher with a proven track record of supporting pupils with SEND
* Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
* Be able to work collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals
* Be passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where all students can succeed
