We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Controls Lead for EPCM projects based out of our Salford Quays office, to join this team.
Responsibilities:
* Collecting, analysing, and interpreting project data on project performance.
* Cost tracking, scheduling, and risk management in order to create monthly project reports.
* Manage and lead activities related to project planning and controls, cost management and reporting, and risk management.
* Responsible for timely issue of project control deliverables and progress reports.
* Provide leadership to planning engineers, schedulers, and cost engineers.
* Support the Project Manager.
* Oversee planning and scheduling on the project.
* Understand the project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks and targets.
* Support and advise the PM in relation to time and cost-related variations and claims.
* Develop and maintain the approved project work breakdown structure and project control budget.
* Monitor progress against schedules.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Considerable experience in project controls on EPCM projects, for a main contractor in the Process/Industry sectors.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Knowledge of project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
