Eco skip waste & recycling ltd is a small but well established waste and recycling operator serving the whole of the South coast and surrounding areas. We require a highly motivated, productive and driven sales / business development manager to take us to the next stage by developing both new and existing customers.
The candidate will need a proven history of adding value & expanding a client base with demonstrable results of successfully growing and scaling a current or previous business.

We are looking for someone to grow with us, ideally who understands the waste & recycling, or similar, industry and has a desire to be the best in challenging times.
The successful candidate will have considerable responsibility, reporting directly to, and supported by, the MD. However, there will be a considerable level of autonomy to make lasting change within the company with the opportunity to expand the role as necessary. 100% effort and commitment to the role will be necessary to succeed. Objectives of this role
1. Manage both our existing clients and develop new business opportunities
2. Take a role in developing new-business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships
3. Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets
4. Develop strategies and positions by analysing new-venture integration
5. Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks to achieve strategic goals
6. Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics
Responsibilities
1. Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and have regularly meetings to discuss strategy
2. Communicate and coordinate with clients to ensure a steady flow of work, keeping targets met
3. Research, identify and coordinate with waste outlets
4. Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
5. Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics
6. Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
7. Support deal structure and pricing with business-value analysis, and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
8. Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
