The School and Role
We are working with a warm, inclusive primary school located in a diverse and often disadvantaged community in Grays, who are seeking a compassionate KS2 Teacher to join their team. We are committed to providing every child with a high-quality education that breaks down the barriers to achievement that many of our students face. We are looking for a passionate and empathetic KS2 Teacher who is dedicated to supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds and helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who face significant challenges, both in and outside the classroom. The desired KS2 Teacher will be flexible, adaptable and confident in the KS2 curriculum. This role is suitable for ECT’s seeking more experience or more experienced KS2 Teachers looking for a new environment.
Requirements
The desired KS2 Teacher will have;
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (or relevant experience at primary level), ideally in schools with a high proportion of pupil premium.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students from disadvantaged backgrounds and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualified Teacher Status and an Enhanced DBS Check
